About Ponent Beach

The beach experience

Ponent runs west from the harbour towards Cambrils. Its shallow water, long promenade and broad service offer make it a practical family alternative to Llevant.

Access and surroundings

  • Promenade beside the beach.
  • Parking is published nearby.
  • Officially identified as an adapted or accessible beach.

Easy access from Passeig Miramar. Accessible facilities and amphibious-chair availability are seasonal and should be confirmed on the day.

Lifeguards and flags

1–14 June and 1–30 September: 10:00–18:00. 15 June–31 August: 10:00–19:00.

  • Seasonal rescue service published.
  • Warning-flag service published.

Before entering the water

  • Check the flag and sea conditions on arrival.
  • Never enter the sea under a red flag.
  • Keep children within immediate reach.
  • Do not treat inflatables as safety equipment.
  • Alert lifeguards or call 112 after a serious incident.

Walking there

The directions page uses your live browser location and builds a walking route to the recorded beach arrival point.

For long beaches, the chosen point is a practical central arrival rather than every possible entrance.

Quality recognition

Regularly recognised for service quality and environmental management.
